JaMycal Hasty is a professional football player who currently plays as a running back for the New England Patriots in the National Football League (NFL).
He was born on September 12, 1996, in Longview, Texas, to the parents of Michael Hasty and Carol Campbell.
HIGH SCHOOL
Hasty attended Longview High School, where he was a standout athlete, excelling in both football and track. In his senior year, Hasty rushed for 1,611 yards and scored 18 touchdowns, earning him an invitation to play in the 2016 U.S.
UNIVERSITY
Army All-American Bowl. He then went on to continue his education and football career at Baylor University, where he played for four years. During his time at Baylor, Hasty rushed for 1,998 yards and scored 15 touchdowns, making him one of the top running backs in the Big 12 Conference.
NFL
After going undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft, Hasty signed with the San Francisco 49ers as a free agent. In his rookie year, he played in 14 games and rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown, proving himself as a capable and reliable backup to the 49ers as a starting running back.
